Rowan has a long and still popular history in folklore as a tree which protects against witchcraft and enchantment. The tree is also called “wayfarer’s tree” or “traveller’s tree” because it supposedly prevents those on a journey from getting lost. So, put them on and be protected from any bad in your way.
